HealthSouth Lakeview Rehabilitation Hospital is a freestanding, 40-bed acute physical rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping patients return to the highest possible level of functional independence. Our approach to achieving this goal is to develop an individualized plan for each of our patients, addressing their specific needs in areas of physical mobility, activities of daily living, communication and cognitive tasks as well as medical issues such as medication management.

At HealthSouth Lakeview, we have specially trained nursing staff and respiratory, physical, occupational and speech therapists who work under the guidance of our physicians, who are specially trained in physical rehabilitation. We consider the discharge plan a vital part of ensuring a successful transition from our hospital back to the community. Our case managers work with patients and families to arrange all of the supportive services needed after discharge.
