Lori Jarboe, PT, DPT, MHS
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Lori Jarboe is honored to share more than 17 years of clinical and managerial expertise with her HealthSouth Lakeview family. She graduated with honors from the University of Louisville with her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and from the University of Indianapolis with both an advanced master’s degree in health sciences and a doctoral degree in physical therapy. Lori holds multiple certifications and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.Having started as a therapy student in the hospital in 1996 and working her way up to therapist, department manager, department director, and to the office of the CEO in 2010, she hopes this unique viewpoint helps her to be empathetic and supportive of her team at all levels. She believes strongly in patient-centered care, having served on the National Patient Experience Task Force as well as having been a member of HealthSouth’s National Patient Safety Task Force for several years. She volunteers to raise funds for many community groups such as the United Way, Feeding America, the Community Free Health Clinic, and Hosparus as a board member. She is a proud resident of Rineyville with her husband and two children and enjoys the outdoors and supporting the Arts.
Dr. Tony Abang has been with HealthSouth Lakeview Rehabilitation Hospital since 2004. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Indiana School of Medicine. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as in pain management. He served as interim medical director in 2010-2011 and accepted the role full-time in 2013. He was named HealthSouth’s “Medical Director of the Central Region” in 2013 in recognition of the excellent patient outcomes, patient, and staff satisfaction under his leadership. He is very active in the community, supporting multiple charitable organizations, including volunteering on the Hosparus Board. Tony and his wife, Leah, who is a pharmacist in the community, reside in Elizabethtown with their three children.
Dr. Tony Abang is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Director of Human Resources
Tina has been part of the HealthSouth Lakeview family since 2006. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Elizabethtown SHRM and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in human resource management. In her spare time she also works as a show secretary for horse shows. She lives in Vine Grove with her husband, son, three horses and four dogs.
Director of Marketing Operations
Charissa has been with Healthsouth since 2007. She attended nursing school in Charleston S.C. and is currently finishing a BS in business administration and marketing from St. Leo's University in Dade City, Florida. She is married to husband Michael and has four grown children and one grandson. She enjoys time in her pool and spending time with her two akitas, Mollie and Calli. She also enjoys cooking and reading new recipes.
Scott brings more than 17 years of accounting experience to HealthSouth Lakeview. He received a bachelor's degree from the Western Kentucky University. Scott was born and raised in Grayson County and currently resides in Clarkson with his wife and two children.
Director of Plant Operations and Patient Safety Officer
John, a Hardin County native and US Navy veteran, brings over 30 years of plant operations expertise to HealthSouth Lakeview. Since starting in 2007, he has focused on advancing the hospital’s environment of care and has been actively involved with environmental, health, and safety concerns and improvements in the workplace, including serving as a member of HealthSouth’s National Patient Safety Task Force.
Kate Osburn, CRRN, BSN
Chief Nursing Officer
Kate has been part of the HealthSouth Lakeview family since 2009. She began her career with HealthSouth as a rehabilitation nursing technician while she was working on his associates degree in nursing at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. She then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan and achieved a certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse in 2014. Kate has held many roles including case manager, hospital educator and infection control coordinator. She finds that rehabilitation nursing is very rewarding because of the opportunity to help restore patients to their previous level of living. Kate resides in Elizabethtown with her husband and three children. She loves and supports the growing community of Elizabethtown.
Wanda Owens Neal, RN, CRRN
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Wanda is a native of Martin, Tennessee and holds a nursing degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She has been part of the HealthSouth team since 1992, starting her career at HealthSouth Cane Creek in Martin, Tennessee, in many nursing roles, including chief nursing officer. Wanda joined the team at HealthSouth Lakeview in 2011 in the role of quality coordinator and was soon promoted to the director of quality and risk management. She is instrumental in the hospital’s performance improvement teams, quality reviews/initiatives, and ensuring proper compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies. She and her husband reside in the Louisville area.
Neil Paslawski, PT, DPT
Director of Physical Therapy
Neil joined the leadership team at HealthSouth Lakeview in 2013. He has been with HealthSouth since 2009, starting as a staff physical therapist with HealthSouth in Mesa, Arizona. Neil earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training and health promotion from the University of Iowa, and his doctorate of physical therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. He is an educator on HealthSouth’s Hip Fracture team for Clinical Excellence and is also on the HealthSouth Patient Education Review Committee (PERC). He strives to educate patients and believes individuals should have an opportunity to succeed in enjoying wellness and the highest quality of life after injury or illness. Neil lives in Elizabethtown with his wife and two boys, and enjoys anything outdoors.
Director of Case Management
Angela has been a case manager in the rehabilitative hospital setting for over 13 years. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in social work in 1995. Angela was born and raised in Hart County where she currently resides with her husband. She enjoys spoiling her niece and nephew as much as possible.
